Most furniture collections are designed piece by piece and grouped together afterwards. The Living(Dead) Room Collection was designed the other way round: as a complete living room first, with every
seat, table and light considered against every other, so the whole space reads as one idea rather than a set of coordinated purchases. The name is deliberate wordplay, and the intention behind it. A
“living room” is where a home is most alive, and Gothic design has always found its beauty in what everyone else calls dark: shadow, weight, stillness, the theatrical rather than the cheerful.
